This was also my first try on drawing her. Of, course, making her curls was the most difficult thing. But only at the beggining. One I had the general size and distribution of the curls, following their natural being and giving them shape accurately was a piece of cake. Must be because I am accustomed to draw curls. For example, Himawari ones (from XXXHolic, by Clamp) or my own curls (though way more shorter and smaller, of course! XD)

I also wanted not to give her that hard look that she always wears. She is character that has passed through hard times and has had to show her strength by behaving like the cold and intelligent woman she is known to be. Lots of tribulations hide behind that monocle... Hey, wait a sec! She doesn´t wear any monocle! OK, I realized that after inking and scanning her... Too late. >_< Ouch.

Well, let´s think we have caught her in early morning, when she´s still getting dressed before facing a day full of meetings, decissions to make and hostile people to negotiate with. Getting prepared to act, once more, as the powerful right hand of the Pope.

La Cardemal Lady Caterina Sforza, de la serie Trinity Blood.

Ésta es la primera vez que la dibujaba. Por supuesto, lo más difícil fue dibujar sus rizos. Pero solo al principio. Cuando tuve cogida la forma y distribución general, lo demás fue coser y cantar. Será porque tengo costumbre de dibujar rizos y bucles, como los de Himawari, de XXXHolic, o los míos propios (aunque mucho más cortos y pequeños! XD)

Tampoco quería darle esa mirada fría y astuta que siempre lleva. Es un personaje que lo ha oasado muy mal y que ha tenido que abrirse paso demostrando su fuerza hasta ser conocida por ser poderosa, diplomática y estratega. Tantas tribulaciones se esconden tras ese monóculo... Eh, un segundo! No lleva monóculo! Exacto. Cuando me di cuenta, ya era demasiado tarde: ya estaba entintada y escaneada >_< Ouch.

Vale, dejémoslo así, como si la acabáramos de encontrar a primeras horas de la mañana, cuando aún se está vistiendo para enfrentarse a todo un día lleno de decisiones, reuniones y gente hostil con la que negociar. Preparándose una vez más, para actuar como la poderosa mano derecha del Papa.
