Yessssss! Yayyyyyyy! After some months of almost total disappearance from here, I have now returned in almost total freedom. I did my "big-exam-whose-name-in-english-i-dont-know-but-will-get-me-a-post-as-a-teacher last Sunday. So, after all these months of studying, I now feel so relieved.. I was very lucky and I was asked a lesson I knew quite well. So, though I wont get that post, I will surely get a good score, I think. Now I have another exam ahead next week, an oral examination that will last one hour. But that doesnt worry me at least a little bit. I am accustomed to speak to big public (I have acted in theatre groups sometimes, apart from the experience Ive gained through these years of teaching), so I dont know what is embarrasment to me. Two years ago, when I examinated by first time, I did it well, so I am confident now.

So, I have been spending last four days goung out with my friends, having ice creams, trying not to melt with the 35 degrees here in my town and resting at home, watching movies and... eating more ice creams!!!

The other reason why I have been so busy has been because I have been working as a teacher. It was from March 3th to June 3th. Three months in a town that was almost 300km from home, teaching art and drawing to teens from 13 to 17 years old. I have been quite well, but the problem was that the school was... OK... well... kinda special. When you arrive there, you feel like Michelle Pfeiffer in the movie Dangerous Minds. Yeah, the kids were from a very problematic zone of the city, with lots of foreigner students and kinda problematic families. I got to get along quite well with most of them, but of course I have had some problems with one or two of them. But they were only kids with almost no family or moral education, so I couldnt do much more than teaching classes to them and being polite while they shouted at me. Do you know that´s the best way of "dissarming" a problematic kid? My proccedure was to stood very still, with bored face, waiting for them to stop. After that, I said tho them: "OK, have you finished? I think you surely need some relaxation classes. Maybe yoga, perhaps? You are so tense and yelling so much... Its bad for the health..." Of course, the entire class laughed at this, the boy ended more furious and then I used to say: "OK, go away from the class. Breath some fresh air. Goodbye!"

There was a case that catched my attention. I had two students (twins, each one in a class) that where kinda nice. They were sometimes expelled from classes, but that was only for minor things. They were not really bad kids. But they hadnt a father, and her mother was in prison. Each one lived with a familiar. One of them was with an aunt of him, a teenager with a child of her own. Many of the days the boy didnt have lunch at her home, because she was sleeping (the baby didnt let her sleep at night) and went out to his brother´s house. What kind of life would be that twins able to have after all of that? Cases like these were very usual. Kids with mothers that worked as... well, they worked in the streets, you know... Kids with divorced parents, with almost no economical sources... with drug dealers... Of course, there were normal kids with normal families, but that was a minory. I remebre that the first day I was with them, I asked them what was what they wanted to do when they got out from there. There was a girl that didnt want to answer until the end of the class. She approached to my table and said to me: "Miss Irene, I havent answered because I was embarrassed, but I would really want to be a doctor". You can imagine which kind of aspirations had the other students...

Well, this has been such an experience. I am very happy to have tasted this situation. Life need this kind of things to make you learn. If you dont get punched or attacked, you will never be able to outstanding difficulties. Dealing with these situations have made me realize that I can have more patience that I ever dreamed on.  Next time I go to a "normal" school, I will feel like in heaven!

Of course, during this time, I have only drawn a little bit. But I have accumulated quite a lot of pictures during these months... So, here are they!

Thanks for faving, watching, commenting, appreciating and following! Sorry if I dont answer, but I just havent had enough time!

P.D.: I have had enough time to watch each day a short episode of FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Amaaaazing show! And I have also finished the manga. Whoaaaaa! What will I do with no more adventures of this fantastic kids! Argh! I have enjoyed so much the events with my favourite alchemists and the rest of great characters... Many years of nerves, theories, hopes, laughs and fears that have ended now. (Sigh) Long live to Elric bros!

Síiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Yuhuuuuuuuu!

Ains... Larga vida a los hermanos Elric!
