Hehehe... A new autumn entered long ago, and sort of new things are coming with it. First, I have entered to a little course about creatuve illustration. It started two days ago, and only will last until mid-november, but I am very glad of being in it, because they are explaning us some things that I would never be able to learn in other ways. In our town there is not any room for artists, illustration or design. If you want to success, you have to go outside, and even in that way, the career is very hard to deal with. But at least I have this, and I am enjoying a lot. We are trying lights and shadows with ink, designing covers with acrylics and also watercolours and gouache.
In other hand, I am now waiting for being called to go to work as a teacher. I am in a waiting list, and I am in number 2! Argh, I dont know when are they going to call me, even nor do I know where I will be working... But I have learnt to deal with this sense of adventure. Every day is fine for me to get a heart attack with a phone call...
More things... I have seen Agora, from Amenábar, with Rachel Weisz (she is so ethereal and pretty ^_^). Is very good, because it depictes a great historic portrait.
And more films!!! Some days ago I saw the trailers of two great movies: The imaginaroum of doctor Parnassus (Tery Gilliam) and Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton). They both are wonderful directors, so imaginative that I like almost all of their movies. I am looking forward to see them!
OK, nothing more to say. Are you going to disguise for Halloween? I would have liked so, but my friends are so busy with their own lives (and even me) that they haven´t organized anything this year. Maybe next time.
As always, many thanks for your support!

hahaha!

The hills are aliiive, with the sound of muuusiic!
Why the title? Ok, because I almost feel as Julie Andrews in that movie, in that first scene, when she is running on the high mountain. Why? You´ll see soon...
Here I am, almost one year after my last journal entry. And yet I have visited regularly every week this page. But I didn´t have enough time to upload things. Now, with the little group of deviations from this weekends, I think it´s time, at least, to say something new.
Again, I´m working in a new place. Last year it was in a maritime town in the south east of Spain). And now, I am in a small town submerged in a valley accomodated between three mountain ranges. It
Happy new year 2011!

Yeah, thats how I feel now. My head is always full of new ideas, but without enough time to make them come true...
Ok, lets go step by step.
I havent been able to post because some reasons. One and most important: Im a lazy person, like you have no idea. Second: I started working again as a institute teacher in September 20, in a little town at the south east coast of Andalusia. This time my post will last an enture academic year, so, ¡no more insecurity, no more waiting for telephone calls! I have full 9 months to feel relieved and with the certainty of a secure post.
The centre is OK. Its a HUGE pl
Massive uploading! I'm back!
Yessssss! Yayyyyyyy! After some months of almost total disappearance from here, I have now returned in almost total freedom. I did my "big-exam-whose-name-in-english-i-dont-know-but-will-get-me-a-post-as-a-teacher last Sunday. So, after all these months of studying, I now feel so relieved.. I was very lucky and I was asked a lesson I knew quite well. So, though I wont get that post, I will surely get a good score, I think. Now I have another exam ahead next week, an oral examination that will last one hour. But that doesnt worry me at least a little bit. I am accustomed to speak to big public (I have acted in theatre groups sometimes, apart f
Panicking? Never!!!!
Thats my life by now, and thats how it will be until june 30th. I am now working as a teacher, and at the same time preparing my ENORMOUS-FINAL-EXAM-THAT-WILL-PROBABLY-GET-ME-A-POST-AS-A-TEACHER-DEFINITELY-FOR-THE-REST-OF-MY-LIFE. And I wont surely get the post, because there are lots of people with much more experience than me. So then, I cant upload anything or passing by there by doing no more that checking mails and new deviations. My drawing rate gone down incredibly (only 10 or 12 drawings during theses 3 months. Argh.
OK, Olaunis. Relax. Only a month to the exam. Only a month to freedom...
Thanks for all the favs, comments and llamas

The creative illustration lessons sound wonderful... and very suitable for you! How are they proceeding? I'm so happy if you're learning new things! *___*
And good luck, as always, for the work! No.2, you say? So if they'll need some replacement you'll be among the first ones they'll call, right? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
(oooh, that's a pity for Halloween! >___< Maybe you'll have another chance at Carnival? I remember your cool idea about the gangsters party....)
